I came across Aik Soon's Instagram on my explore page. The photo I saw was the fourth photo below, he really enjoy looking those places that he been there for shooting. I believe they are some abandon places. I also enjoy those reflection shoot, example the second photo of the Marina Bay Sands, I believe the shot was capture in a slow shutter speed because I could see the skies had a very strong moving motion.

I think we should shine our local talents in Singapore that enjoy photography and spread it all around to let more people see their works. I believe that is what everyone wishes.

Benson Ang is a journalist in Singapore since 2008. He joined The Straits Times in 2014, he is also a a creative arts honours graduate. He mainly writes about lifestyles, travel and also concert, theatre reviews.

I came across his photo from Facebook. From my previous post I talk about Ian Hsu, he also shoot concerts but he shoot all around from backstage, on the stage, and even the audience. But Benson's photo is different from Ian Hsu, he shoot more up close to the artist rather than Ian's work. From Benson's work people could able to see the artist expression.

Ren Hang

Ren Hang studied advertising in university. He is unique in his soft pornography series, he also do normal advertising but his unique series are seem to be more popular. He don't use expensive camera for his shooting, he believe that it just the idea. To him anyone could be a photographer as long you have a idea what to do. In the past he will reply to the hate comments, but time go by he thinks that is normal to be comment.

It is sad that we lost a talents guy, I believe he could inspire people more from his words for the new photographers or people who want to be one.

I had came across this book in the library. I find the cover page is pretty interesting its just his name on the book and the unique texture.

David Mitchell is from UK Brighton. He is 52 this year. He start his career since in the early 1980s in Milan, Florence and also the big city London. He moved to Hong Kong in the 1991 and started to shooting for fashion brand for likes Christian Dior and Laura Biagiotti.

I really like how the ways the photo turns out, his photo rarely had any eyes contact but I could feel by the expression of the model. His photo are all mainly in black, grey and white. Some of his photo also have panning shots while the models is running.
